A long working boric acid product for the inactivation and reduction of litter beetle in and around chicken and fowl houses

Beetle control is done using the active ingredient orthoboric acid which is is highly effective against self-grooming insects: firstly as exoskeleton irritant and secondly as a stomach poison. Orthoboric acid is not toxic to poultry at the levels used and applied at in chicken houses. Litter beetle activity will start to reduce after 48 hours from application and beetles will be dying after 4 days from application.

Application: Spread evenly below feeder lines and in dark corners of the house at a rate of 5 kg per 10 m².
