A biocide for use in livestock drinking water systems for the removal of biofilm and organic material, and for the reduction of pathogens in pipelines, nipples, drinkers and troughs.

HOW IT WORKS

MODE OF ACTION

Sodium chlorate is highly effective against certain pathogenic Enterobacteriaceae such as Salmonella and E. coli. The chlorate ion is metabolised in these bacteria to produce chlorite, which is toxic to the bacteria. Hydrogen peroxide acts as a strong oxidising agent that assists in destroying bacteria, parasites, pathogens and organic build-up through oxidation of cell membranes. KripClean^® also assists in reducing biofilm accumulation and organic contamination inside drinking water systems.
